CAMERON JAMES, CFT

Cameron began working in the fitness industry as a co-owner of the Powerhouse Gym in Kitimat, B.C. He first became involved in fitness training to improve his strength in competitive hockey. After noticing the benefits to all age groups as a certified weight room instructor, he became interested in the 40+ population and moved to Kelowna where he began working with that market. From there, he moved to Gibsons and joined Cross-Trainers, starting one of the first 50+ group fitness programs on the Coast. Today many people from that original group are still training and enjoying active independent lifestyles. Cameron is working as a certified personal fitness trainer and has a certification in Hip-Knee Joint Replacement Rehabilitation and Scientific Core Conditioning. Cameron's passion is motivating people and keeping fitness fun while educating clients as to how every workout has a positive effect on their overall well-being.
